As one of Europe’s leading agencies within the UX industry, Nomensa wanted to showcase its expertise to attract new high-level clients as well as promote and maximise attendance of its two annual flagship events, Collaborate Bristol and Interact London. With a strong in-house marketing team, Nomensa was seeking support with media relations and PR expertise to optimise its marketing efforts.
To help Nomensa achieve its goals, we focused on brand positioning, relationship building and profile raising activity. Our approach was to ensure that the business and its people were seen as industry leaders across relevant industry publications and online platforms. To do this, we concentrated on raising the profile of its CEO, Simon Norris, promoting his thinking and the award-winning work that Nomensa delivers, via whitepapers, case studies, opinion pieces and industry commentary in relevant media outlets whilst also entering key industry awards as part of our annual PR plan, aligned with Nomensa’s integrated marketing strategy.
To support Nomensa’s annual events, we looked to optimise exposure and position the two high-level events as unique, quality and inclusive conferences for those operating within the UX industry. We took a three-fold approach to reach our key audiences to help increase ticket sales, ultimately focusing our efforts on pre-event activity, on-site support and post-event delivery integrating traditional media relations with social and digital content creation and influencer engagement and partnerships.
Alongside press coordination and interviews, we also supported with social media interaction, helping event hashtags to trend in their locations to increase awareness, aid community building and enhance brand loyalty.
